Do you want to make your kayak smoothly and elegantly dance on the water? Do you want to more efficiently and powerfully maneuver your kayak? If so, this class is for you. First, we will learn how edging effects how your kayak moves through the water and how to take advantage of it to turn your kayak more efficiently. We will then learn the different strokes to maneuver your kayak while going forward, backwards and sideways. Lastly, we will learn to blend the various strokes together to really maneuver your kayak in ways that will fully impress your paddling friends. During the class we will discuss the proper ways to hold your paddle and the proper posture to get the most out of your paddle while reducing the potential of injury.
