LAUNCH SITE DIRECTORY
This directory contains information regarding various kayak launch sites used
by JSSKA members. The information is compiled from online submissions, maps,
and internet resources. If you have a launch site to add to the directory or
an update to an existing site, submit it to JSSKA via the
Directory Submission Form. It's easy to fill out!
JSSKA is not responsible for any changes in access, fees or
any other details related to any noted listing. Directions are posted as guidelines
only. Please confirm with current street map and marine chart data.
** Many sites are in open water and may be prone to high winds, significant chop, wakes,
heavy boat and personal watercraft traffic. BE FAMILIAR with US Coast Guard
Regulations, and ALWAYS BE AWARE of current and future weather predictions, the level
of tidal influence and the strength of currents in the area you intend to paddle.
ALWAYS use navigational aids (eg. nautical or topographical maps, tide charts,
compass, GPS) when paddling areas you are unfamiliar with.**
