Driving Directions:

• Garden State Parkway to exit 58.
• South on Route 539.
• Bear Left on Parkertown Drive.
• Right on Route 9.
• Left on Brook Street heading east.
• Brook Street merges into Dock Street, which runs out through the salt marshes along Parker Creek, and ends at Parkertown Park.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

No restrictions, but keep clear of bathing beach. Launch area is to right of parking area where old marina used to be. Unload boat and park away from beach area.

Parking situation:

No restrictions. Park away from beach area after dropping off boat. ! Important Almost entire parking area can become submerged during spring (new moon/full moon) high tides, with water up to 2 feet deep. Know your tides before parking here and paddling away.

Comments:

Parkertown Park gives excellent access to Little Egg Harbor, and thence the southern tip of Long Beach Island, Great Bay Boulevard, and Beach Haven Inlet.
