Driving Directions:

• Locate town of Shiloh, on Route 49 between Bridgeton (to southeast) and Salem (to northwest).
• Drive southwest out of Shiloh on Roadstown Road approx. 1 3/4 miles to fork.
• Right at fork onto Hospital Road, go 1 1/2 miles.
• Left onto Ye Great Road.
• Quick Right onto Mill Road.
• Go approx. 2 miles (Mill Road becomes Tindall Island Road)
• Right onto Bayside Road.
• Go approx. 1 1/4 mile to end.
• **Note > Best to obtain good Cumberland County map, as Bayside can be a difficult place to find, due to maze of tiny rural roads.

Parking situation:

Wildlife observation platform at parking area. Launch into Delaware Bay.

Comments:

Bayside is owned by Public Service Gas & Electric (PSE&G) and managed by The Nature Conservancy. Access to open water of Delaware Bay. Adjacent shorelines are deserted and pristine, but area is remote and help can be far away, should problems arise on the water. Be prepared. Also, ferocious greenheads in season.
