Driving Directions:

• From East (Monmouth/Ocean counties)
• Interstate 195 West to exit 2 (South Broad Street / Route 206) towards Trenton.
• Go about 1/2 mile, you will come to a small traffic circle of sorts at the junction of Rte 206 (this is a bad intersection, pay attention!).
• Left on Route 206 South.
• Go about 2 miles and take the exit for Park Street (just before the railroad bridge).
• Right on Park and go 1 mile to the dead end.

• From North (Trenton area)
• Interstate 295 South to Interstate 195 East.
• Take exit 1 for Route 206 south and follow directions above.

• From North (via NJ Turnpike)
• NJ Turnpike to exit 7A.
• Get on Interstate 195 West.
• Follow "From the east" directions above.

• From South (via NJ Turnpike)
• NJ turnpike to exit 7.
• Get on Route 206 North.
• Go about 1/2 mile and turn left on Farnsworth Ave (sign says Bordentown).
• Take Farnsworth 1 mile through the center of Bordentown to a stop sign and turn left on Park Street.

• From South (via I-295)
• Interstate 295 to exit 57 (Route 130 north).
• Immediately get into the left lane and make a left onto Farnsworth Ave.
• Take Farnsworth 7/10s of a mile through the center of Bordentown to a stop sign and turn left on Park Street.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

Best to paddle up Crosswicks Creek with the tides. Avoid launching 1 hour each side of low tide (deep mud!).

Parking situation:

Large gravel parking area. No fee if you don't have a trailer.

Comments:

!Use caution in tidal areas; currents may be fast and forceful and the water deeper than it seems.

There's a marked canoe/kayak trail on Crosswicks Creek with a branch on Watson Creek. Lots of birdlife, very few power boats once you're past the marina.

Be mindful that this natural area is located in an urban setting. Use caution when visiting.
