Driving Directions:

• Garden State Parkway to exit 38 (Atlantic City Expressway).
• Atlantic City Expressway to Exit 2.
• Proceed past SandCastle and Albany Avenue Launch over bridge and past the monument to Atlantic Avenue.
• Right on Atlantic Avenue, proceed about 4 miles to Newport Avenue.
• Left on Newport Avenue (Ventnor Public Library on corner), continue to beach.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

You need a beach badge if you stay on the beach. Plenty of time to sneak in though. Restrooms are behind the playground; open in the summer only.

Parking situation:

Unload at the beach; metered parking right there. Otherwise, free parking on Atlantic Avenue if you don't have quarters.

Comments:

This is a Kayak designated beach. It runs between the two lifeguard stands from Newport toward the fishing pier. You can launch or ride waves here.
