• Garden State Parkway to Exit 63.
• Follow Route 72 East.
• Right on Route 9 South.
• Left on Cedar Run Dock Road (aka CR 605).
• Follow through salt marsh to end; road becomes Cedar Run Boulevard.
• Launch site is at end. The park is essentially an asphalt parking lot.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

Launch area is an asphalt ramp. In addition to the ramp, there appeared to be a potential small beach on the right between the parking lot and the restaurant.

Parking situation:

Limited asphalt parking lot. In summer, ramp and parking lot likely to be overutilized by those with boats and personal watercraft. Exercise discretion and double up on parking spaces to reduce over utilization possibilities. ! Important Almost entire parking area can become submerged during spring (new moon/full moon) high tides, with water up to 2 feet deep. Know your tides before parking here and paddling away.

Heading North:
   - 3.5 miles to Rt 72 Bridge (west end)
   - 3.5 miles to Bonnet Island-Rt 72 Bridge (east end)
   - 7.5 miles to Barnegat Bay

Heading South:
   - approx 9-10 miles to Great Bay Wildlife Management Area (including Little Sheepshead Creek & Big Sheepshead Creek)

Marina Russo is a cozy, elegant and somewhat expensive fine Italian restaurant located on site.
