Driving Directions:
- From North
- Garden State Parkway South to exit 129.
- Follow signs and take exit for Route 440 / Perth Amboy.
- At Stop sign, Make left. (This is New Brusnwick Avenue - East)
- Continue .9 mile to 2nd traffic light make right on Route 35 South (aka Convery Boulevard).
- Continue .4 mile to 2nd traffic light make left on Smith Street.
- Follow "From South" directions starting at step marked with **.
- From South
- Garden State Parkway North to exit 125 - just beyond the Raritan toll plaza. You need to be in extreme right lane in the toll plaza as the exit is a few yards beyond toll gate.
- Exit ramp will bring you into a circle.
- Follow signs for Route 35 North and continue over the Victory Bridge.
- Make next right on Smith Street.
- ** Make next right on Herbert Sreet.
- Make next left on Market Street. (West Marine is on this corner).
- Continue .5 mile. After you go over small bridge (RR tracks), make right on Market Street.
- Go about 1/2 mile to the end of 2nd Street.
- Straight at the end there is a cul-de-sac with parking and the end of a beach that runs along the Perth Amboy waterfront.

Launching considerations / restrictions:
No apparent restrictions. The beach is a bit messy, but definitely functional.
Parking situation:
There's some parking in the cul-de-sac, and a small parking area to the left,
with some more on the street, for about 40 cars. The area is a bit isolated.
Comments:
The launch site is at the point where the Raritan River meets the Raritan Bay. This is
at the very western end of the recently developed 7+ mile harbor walk that reaches
around the city's waterfront. The walkway is very nice and the city has done a great
job at improving the area.
