Launching considerations / restrictions:

The lake is open 7 days a week from Memorial Day to Labor day. Admission is $10.00 per car (2004 rate). The rest of the year, admission is free, but the lake is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4pm. Restrooms other ammenities are only open in the summer.

Parking situation:

There is a large paved parking lot.

Comments:

1.5 mile long lake in Wharton State Forest. Power boats are prohibited. There is a public swim beach (summer only), playground, picnic area and camp ground on the lake. Great place to explore, sprint, practice skills, or relax.
