Driving Directions:

• Garden State Parkway to Exit 82 (Route 37 East - Seaside Heights/Island Beach State Park).
• Take Route 37 East about 4.5 miles to Fischer Blvd (before going over Route 37 Bridge to Seaside).
• Use jughandle to make Left onto Fischer Blvd.
• Continue on Fischer Blvd for approx 2.6 miles to traffic light at Yellow Bank Road.
• Right onto Yellowbank Road and go through a residential neighborhood.
• Make 4th left onto Bandon Rd and through the gates of the Ocean County Parks Department Administration Property.
• Follow winding road to the launch site adjacent to the administration building.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

Cartop Launch - Unload kayak at launch site then move vehicle to designated parking area.

Parking situation:

**GATES CLOSE AT DUSK. You must have your car out BEFORE dusk or you will not be able to get your vehicle out of the park**

Comments:

Good access to Barnegat Bay and Cattus Island County Park. This site has picnic tables on an unshaded and open grassy field overlooking the bay.
