Driving Directions:

• From Garden State Parkway
• Garden State Parkway to Exit 80.
• Follow Route 9 South to Bayville.
• LEFT onto Ocean Gate Drive.
• Immediate LEFT onto Mill Creek Road.
• Proceed to end where the river is.
• The road is parallel to the Mill Creek Park (outside of the fenced park area, east side).

• Take Route 9 North into Bayville.
• Right onto Ocean Gate Drive.
• Immediate LEFT onto Mill Creek Road.
• Proceed to end where the river is.
• The road is parallel to the Mill Creek Park (outside of the fenced park area, east side).

Launching considerations / restrictions:

FREE public access.

Parking situation:

Parking on ONE side of the street only, is marked. NO fees to launch, it's public access. It gets crowded on the weekends.

Comments:

This launch area is on the south side of the Toms River, Bayville, about 3/4 of the way out. It is a good location to do a trip west into the Main Street area of Toms River downtown and view beaches, houses and scenery or to go from here and head East out to the bay. The Route 37 bridges are fairly close by from here.
