Driving Directions:

• From North
• Garden State Parkway South to exit 89. (Brick, CR 528)
• Right on Airport Road to end (CR-528).
• RIGHT on CR-528 (Cedar Bridge Ave.), Past SR-70, to CR-549 (Brick Boulevard).
• RIGHT on CR-549.
• Follow directions below starting at **.

• From South
• Garden State Parkway North to exit 90.
• Right on Chambers Bridge road (CR 549) East toward SR-70.
• Continue on CR-549, past SR-70. Note that CR-549 makes right at Brick mall and changes name to Brick Boulevard.
• ** Continue on CR-549, less than 1 mile, to CR-624 (Drum Point Road).
• LEFT on CR-624.
• At next traffic light, make RIGHT on Cherry Quay Road.
• Continue for approx 1 mile to end.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

Avoid the upper creek area during low tide. It is shallow and muddy.

Parking situation:

Unload kayak and park on residential street.

Comments:

Paddling inland, there are a number of tributaries and lagoons with a mix of residential and wooded shoreline.

Paddling eastward, it is approx. 1/2 mile to enter Barnegat Bay
