Driving Directions:

• Garden State Parkway to exit 77.
• Follow CR-618 East. Cross SR-9. Continue to CR-617 (Bayview Avenue).
• Left on CR-617.
• Follow CR-617 for approximately 1.5 miles. Watch for Sloop Creek Street sign (On left).
• Make right on Sloop Creek Road. Park and unload on right side of road.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

At high tide, water comes up almost to road side, so do not park far off road. There is some private property, clearly marked with a rope/fence along this stretch of road, please respect this.

Parking situation:

Very limited parking along roadway.

Comments:

Take Sloop Creek east to gain access to Barnegat Bay. Approx 2.25 miles south to Berkeley Island County park.
