Driving Directions:

• New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14C (Jersey City).
• After going through toll, get in left lane and continue to traffic light.
• LEFT on Jersey Avenue.
• Jersey Avenue will become Newark Avenue, and continue to Observer Highway.
• Bear right on Observer Highway.
• Continue approx. 1/2 mile to Hudson Street.
• LEFT on Hudson Street, then next RIGHT on Hudson Place, then LEFT on River Street to end.
• RIGHT on Frank Sinatra Drive. (Note that Frank Sinatra drive is different than Sinatra Drive).
• Goto 525 Frank Sinatra Drive - (The Sinatra Cafe).
• Walk south 100 feet. Look for truck ramp that leads to a path thru the rocks.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

Do not use the original old rocky kayak launch. It is always too slippery. Use the truck ramp that leads to a path through the large rocks. It is much safer.

Parking situation:

Depending on which day-there is usually parking on the street. May be fees. Also parking garages along the river, north and south of the kayak launch. That would be River Street.
