Driving Directions:

• From North
• Garden State Parkway South to exit 109 (Route 520 - Red Bank).
• Left on 520 East.
• Get *immediately* to the right lane.
• Take the immediate right after the overpass into the jughandle.
• Follow the jughandle to the left and the traffic light.
• Go straight through the light, this is now Half Mile Road.
• Follow directions below from step 4 **

• From South
• Garden State Parkway North to exit 109 (Route 520 - Red Bank).
• Come off the exit and bear to the left to the traffic light.
• Go straight through the light, this is now Half Mile Road.
• ** Follow Half Mile Road to the end at traffic light for a half mile.
• Right on West Front Street for 1.8 miles to center of Red Bank and continue for another 1.8 miles (Front Street's name changes to West River Road).
• At traffic light in center of Fair Haven (Hardware store is on right), turn left onto Fair Haven Road.
• Go north for 1/4 mile to river.
• Boats and gear can be unloaded here but move car back up the street or park on a side street.
• Launch from the right side of the public dock.

Residential area with million dollar homes. Don't recommend to large groups due to neighborhood type area.

Parking on side streets close by.

Comments:

Paddle East to Swimming River Launch site and back is 9 statue miles.

Barnacle Bills recommended for after paddle refreshments. Peanut shells on the floor, ok for wet clothes. (good grub) Foot of First Street Rumson, NJ 07760 - 732-747-8396
