Driving Directions from North:

• NJ Turnpike to Exit 3.
• Follow signs to I-295 South.
• Once your on I-295 / US-130 South proceed 12 miles and follow US-130 when it bears off to right.
• Continue on US-130 for another 8 miles and start to watch for DEP Fish & Wildlife area sign on right.
• Right on dirt road into wildlife area, keeping left at all intersections.
• At the end of the road is the parking area which is on the Delaware River bank about 1.5 miles in.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

River is tidal. Ship channel runs up center of river at this location.

Parking situation:

Dirt lot is within 50 feet of riverbank. No parking restrictions or fees.

Comments:

Launch provides good access to relatively unspoiled stretch of shoreline for a few miles north. There is also a launch for a network of freshwater ponds passed on the way in from Route 130.
