Driving Directions:

• From North
• I-295 South to exit 21 (SR-44, Paulsboro, Woodbury) proceeding to traffic light at bottom of ramp.
• Turn right onto Crown Point Road (SR-44).
• Go to next light, at a Wawa, make a left onto Delaware Street.
• Follow directions from Step 3 ** below.

• From South
• I-295 North to exit 21 (CR-534, National Park) proceeding to bottom of ramp.
• Bear left at stop sign onto Delaware Street.
• ** Go past Grove Road.
• Street becomes Riverwinds Drive.
• Proceed approx 1.3 miles to community center and pass it. HEED THE 15 MPH ZONE!
• Once past the center, the road branches.
• Take the right fork down a hill toward the river.
• You will see parking on the right near the launch.

Launching considerations / restrictions:

Water is tidal. If paddling the Delaware River, currents are strong. There is ship, barge, tug and recreational power boat traffic in the channel. The launch site is across from Philadelphia International Airport. Mostly urban vistas. Launching is in a protected cove.

Parking situation:

Parking is free and there are several parking slots reserved for kayakers near the launch. The park closes at 10 pm.
