The Maurice River is very tide depended, be sure to have the tides
correct before paddling. Plenty of fishing boats during the season.
Parking situation:
NO fees, lots of parking.
Comments:
It's 10.6 miles one way to Delaware Bay
It would most likely be a fine location for wildlife. We saw at
least 10 bald eagles. But we really were slugging against the tide though.
There is a township park just over the bridge in Mauricetown, along the
Maurice River that is a fabulous place for seeing thousands of swallows
in the fall. Also a nice place for a picnic.
