Launching considerations / restrictions:

The Maurice River is very tide depended, be sure to have the tides correct before paddling. Plenty of fishing boats during the season.

Parking situation:

NO fees, lots of parking.

Comments:

It's 10.6 miles one way to Delaware Bay

It would most likely be a fine location for wildlife. We saw at least 10 bald eagles. But we really were slugging against the tide though. There is a township park just over the bridge in Mauricetown, along the Maurice River that is a fabulous place for seeing thousands of swallows in the fall. Also a nice place for a picnic.
