Comments:
Not the easiest launch area, but is a great place to paddle. Hudson is wide here and it is about 2 miles south of the Tapanzee Bridge. Watch out for large boats, barges and their wakes. It is easy to stay along the shore and avoid the big boats and barges, but if you want ot paddle across the river, you will cross the channel so be very careful. Currents can be strong and waves can be high, so check the tides and wind.
